Certificate of Optimal Sports Nutrition Short Course

This sports nutrition course is based on the latest research but presented in a practical and easy to follow format.  Developed by a nutritionist who worked extensively with elite athletes from various sports such as tennis, rugby union and rugby league, this course is not just theory it is based on real clinical situations with actual cases from elite athletes.  Additional support is offered by the NRL Premiership winning Sea Eagles Fitness Coach and NZ NRL Fitness Coach (2008/9 and 2014-2016), Don Singe for those looking for additional information on strength and conditioning.

COURSE DURATION

We understand that most of our students work, have family and other commitments, and so we make all our courses super flexible to fit your busy lifestyles.

This course requires 20 hours of online study and your student portal will be open for you to access for 6 months

COURSE PRICE & DELIVERY

Standard online - $332.00
​You will have access to all workbooks, study guides, hand books and readings via the student learning system in pdf format so you can take the course with you wherever you are without lugging around text books. Your assessment is an untimed, online quiz.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Students shall by the end of the course be competent in:
  1. Demonstrating a thorough understanding of the current theories of sports nutrition.
  2. Applying theories of sports nutrition to athletes/teams to improve health and physical performance.
  3. Critically assess and evaluating the success a sports diet.

This unit requires the submission of:
  • An online multiple choice test
